In 2017 A.D., Mr. Shahi served as the Principal Investigator of a project focused on developing the Auto Cardiac Digital Device (ACDD). The device was designed to determine cardiac output and ten other parameters within seconds, using simple body parameters.
In 2014 A.D., Mr. Shahi conducted research in pure mathematics and derived a solution for finding the largest area square inscribed in a quadrant of a circle. He presented his findings alongside mathematicians from Tribhuvan University and other universities.
In 2017, Mr. Shahi, who is certified by the Department of Mathematics and School of Mathematics at Tribhuvan University, served as the Principal Investigator of a study on the ratio of the areas of excribed and inscribed circles of an isosceles right triangle.

Mr. Shahi awarded young scientist award & Asian Youth Excellent Award in 2020 A.D & Young Scientist Award Paris France 2014 A.D.
In 2016 A.D., Mr. Shahi, who hails from Kalikot, was awarded and honored by his hometown, and he received a Cash prize of NRS 1,50,000.
In 2017 A.D., Mr. Shahi was awarded and honored by the Government of Nepal, and the worth of the award was NRS. 1,00,000
