In grade Eight, Basant developed a modified “Ratio of the areas of excribed and inscribed circle of isosceles right triangle,” which was a significant achievement for a student of his age. His dedication and hard work towards his studies earned him several accolades and awards, including the National Youth Award from the Government of Nepal in 2017.

Basant’s entrepreneurial ventures include founding CashNep – The Bank of Youth’s Vision, which provides financial support and opportunities to young entrepreneurs. He is also the CEO of PrimeSewa and the Chairman of CashNep Foundation. Under his leadership, CashNep has provided financial assistance to many individuals and startups in Nepal. Basant Kumar Shahi was born on March 10, 1997, in the district of Kalikot, Nepal. After completing his School Leaving Certificate (SLC), Basant moved to Kathmandu to pursue higher education. He joined a health professional program, but he continued to pursue his love for mathematics on the side.

Basant faced many challenges in his pursuit of discovering a new mathematics theory, but he persevered, dedicating countless hours to his research. He gave presentations at various institutions such as the Central Department of Mathematics TU, Nepal Science & Technology Academy NAST, and the Ministry of Science & Technology Singh durbar.

Despite facing financial difficulties and struggling to pay for his schooling and college fees, Basant did not give up on his dream. He was the recipient of several scholarships, which allowed him to continue his education and research.

Basant’s dedication and hard work paid off, and he eventually discovered a new mathematics theory, which he presented at various conferences and symposiums. His groundbreaking work has earned him numerous accolades and recognition in the field of mathematics.

Today, Basant continues to pursue his passion for mathematics and research, hoping to make further discoveries and advancements in the field. His story serves as an inspiration to young people everywhere, demonstrating the power of perseverance, dedication, and hard work in achieving one’s dreams.
